The Science
Medical Research Indicates That The Kind of Whey Protein Used In UNJURY® Can Help Manage Diabetes In Two Important Ways:
#1 The Protein In UNJURY® Can Help You Lose Weight.
It does that by reducing hunger, reducing cravings, and reducing ghrelin, “the hunger hormone”.
#2 Whey Proteins Have Been Shown To Improve How Much Insulin is Released into the Blood.
Increased insulin levels then helps reduce blood sugar levels. There are several possible reasons whey protein might be particularly good at this. One possibility is the very high leucine (one of the building blocks of protein) content of whey protein. Whey protein is also a great source of isoleucine, valine, lysine and threonine (other building blocks, called amino acids, of protein) and these possibly all increase how much insulin gets into the bloodstream.
