Dr. Mary Litchford, PhD, RDN, LDN, globally recognized nutrition expert, will be addressing some common issues associated with vitamin deficiencies in bariatric patients.
Dr. Litchford serves as Clinical Nutrition Advisor for UNJURY® Protein and OPURITY® Vitamins and focuses on nutrient requirements following bariatric surgery. She authored chapters “Biochemical, Physical, and Functional Nutrition Assessment” in Krause’s Food & Nutrition Care Process, 2020 and “Drug-Nutrition Interactions” in Integrative & Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy, 2020.
