Patients Frustrated by Weight Regain?
We hear from patients all the time who feel stuck. It seems one minute they are beaming with pride about meeting their weight loss and wellness goals, and the next, everything comes to a halt. This is very common, so they shouldn’t feel like they’re the only ones. They are in good company, and we want to help them, as we have helped so many others. There are a few key factors that come into play when someone experiences a weight loss plateau. One of the main culprits to stalled weight loss—or worse, weight gain—is hunger that leads to poor food choices and exaggerated portions. Many patients contact us after they have stopped using UNJURY®, and consequently stopped losing weight, to ask for advice. The best advice we can give is to incorporate UNJURY back into their daily nutrition plan. Finding a quality protein supplement that they like is key to successful weight loss and maintenance, and many doctors recommend using a supplement long-term. A Plan That Works! Patients who use UNJURY 4-5 times a day for weight loss, and continue using it 3 times a day for maintenance, lose weight and keep it off. Working 3 to 5 servings into their daily diet is easy because it tastes so great, and they can be confident they’re getting the protein levels recommended by the research to lose weight. They don't just add 3 to 5 servings of UNJURY to their current plan. Each serving helps eliminate problem foods—high-fat items, cookies, ice cream, candy, nuts or chips. When they include UNJURY as a protein source during meals, they won’t be tempted to reach for the bad stuff because they won't be hungry throughout the day. Many of our patients have had success with this simple step-by-step plan, and we know your patients can too! We are committed to supporting patients every step of the way on their journey to optimal health. Next week we will discuss how protein plays a major role in long-term weight loss success. Until then, be well.
