Why are YOUR labs so good? An UNJURY Update
A customer who went through a difficult course of cancer treatments -- and did well -- had a follow up visit with her oncologist. The doctor was accustomed to seeing patients whose immune system -- specifically white cell count -- was suppressed from the rigors of chemotherapy. As you perhaps know, chemotherapy tends to kill fast growing cells – including cancer cells, but also can reduce other cell counts, including white cells.
This patient’s labs were good, and consistently showed good white cell counts. That’s why the oncologist asked, "Why are YOUR labs always so good?"
If fact, this patient came through the entire course of chemotherapy, surgery and radiation so well that the oncologist called her a “poster child” for doing well through cancer treatment. Of course there need to be many things that need to go well during cancer treatment, and not all of them are under the control of the patient.
One thing that was under this patient’s control (though it wasn’t always easy) was nutrition. She said she "lived" on UNJURY Chicken Soup. We believe that the main difference between this patient's white count compared with some others was high quality protein - the Medical Quality Protein in UNJURY.
We hear from other patients with a wide range of medical and health goals who have done well using UNJURY.
In so many medical and health situations, protein is important -- because it is so fundamental to so much. If you would like more information, please do email Nutrition@UNJURY.com or call +1(800)517-5111 M-F, 9:00 to 6:00 Eastern Time.
