Health Goals: Why Some Succeed, Some Don’t

Almost every one of our customers has a health goal that is important to them.

But not everyone reaches their goal. What makes the difference? And most important, how can you be sure you reach your goal?

You can do it. Those who succeed do three things:

COMMIT to a realistic goal
Make a simple plan
Track how they are doing & Celebrate Successes Along the Way

I. COMMIT to a realistic goal
Set a goal that is really important to you.
Make a list of the things that will be better if you reach your health goal.
Make a list of the things you might LOSE if you don’t reach your goal.

The lists help you see the see the importance of your goal. The lists help you see the “So What?” of your goal ... So what? if I reach my goal, and So What? if I don’t. Often, success with a health goal can make ALL the difference between having, and losing, something.

Keep your goal realistic. If you have a big goal, break it into steps. If you need to lose 100 pounds, make your first goal to lose 10 points in 2 months.

Once you lose your first 10 pounds, you are on your way!

Commit to make the changes necessary because of the So What’s.
One famous football coach once "Anything easy ... ain't worth a damn."

II. Make a simple plan
Because protein is so important to health, and to reaching your goal, set your plan for how to meet your protein goals. It can be simple. If you need to do 3 servings per day, decide when, and how.

Small Examples (but do what fits you):

When: Breakfast, Afternoon snack, and Evening snack
Make the breakfast shake the night before. Leave a note so you don’t forget in the morning.

Take the snack serving in a cooler in the car.

Eat a lighter dinner, and make the evening snack while you make dinner so it is ready.

III. Track how you are doing & Celebrate Successes along the way
Tracking is a must, and it’s easy. Just use the UNJURY Protein tracker. Print copies on the fridge each month, and celebrate each WEEK when you:
