For all UNJURY flavors, do not use in liquids hotter than 130º F. Proteins, when heated, change texture. For example, you have seen an egg white go from a clear gel, to firm white, when cooked. For UNJURY, in a hot liquid, the proteins tend to clump. A food thermometer is a good way to get the temperature nicely warm…just right.

"The strawberry Unjury has made it so much easier to get my protein. I was beginning to reject the heavier shake types of proteins and dreaded having one more of those. I now find the break from that is so refreshing. In the morning at again at bedtime, I put a couple of ice cubes and a bit of water into my blender. I crush the ice thoroughly on that setting first...then toss in 3 strawberries and a packet of Unjury strawberry. If I am craving sweets, I toss in a packet of Splenda or two to make it really sweet. It has a wonderful natural taste and is a delightful way to get my protein each day after my gastric bypass."

My best friend starting using Unjury after having gastric bypass surgery (her nutritionalist told her about it) and she suggested I try it. I was hooked with my first glass! I now keep a container of powder at the office and at home and it's my go-to snack post-workout.

Makes a good smoothy with berries and milk too!! Chocolate is just as great!! PLEASE TRY IT I use it for breakfast and lunch and smalll healthy snacks inbetween then eat a healthy dinner and I have lost up to 10 pounds a week!"

I started on the protein shakes as meal replacements twice a day when I was beginning my pre -op diet for Lap Band surgery. I found that Unjury tastes very good when mixed with light soymilk (less carbs) and flavored with SF dry jello pudding powders (any flavor). It is very important to use a blender and only blend the dry and liquid ingredients first, then add any ice that you prefer. If you add the ice at the beginning with the dry ingredients you can get a gritty texture.
Since banding, I only use the protein shake in the morning as I don't usually have time for a solid breakfast, and I find it keeps me full until lunch with no cravings mid morning.
It has been a big part of my Lap Band success........... 60 lbs in 6 months thus far.

"The best tasting Protien Shake on the marke. I have tried several others from places like Wholes Food, but none like Unjury. My ditiatian turns me on to this product about a year ago. I use it for at least two meals each day. I but it in the large VitaMix machine with few cubes of ice, may be a small piece of banana and a strawberry and non-fat milk, a\nd a few splenda, it is so delicious. It is the first thing I have in the morning.

It has the perfect balance of nutrients geared towards bariatric surgical patients, people trying to lose weight or people trying to maintain their weight. I highly recommend this and recommend to be creative with it! There are so many great things you can make! I recommend 1 scoop vanilla unjury, 1/2 c. skim milk, 4-6 ice cubes, 1 tbsp. peanut butter for a great high protein breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. It tastes like an absolute dream! "
